How we came to spice curry | We will be serving spice curry at our new store!

Hello, I'm Sakugo, a supporter of Mama's Cheesecake Top.

Mama's Cheesecake will be relocating its main store in February 2024! (The current store is currently looking for other uses.)

This store will be larger than before, so it will have a cafe and lunch service.

When we decided to open for lunch, what we wanted to offer was spiced curry.

A spice curry that captures the charm of Toyama, Japan.

To talk about spice curry, I would like to talk about what I felt through my mom's cheesecake over the past year.

Online sales and event stalls were essential to increasing sales of Mama's Cheesecake.

Over the past year, we have opened stores in Toyama, Ishikawa, and Tokyo, but the event in Tokyo left us with some regrets.

There weren't many shops in Toyama.

The way they present themselves is also lacking in impact compared to shops in other prefectures.

It's delicious though.

The taste is definitely delicious, and I feel that customers have a strong impression that Toyama's food is delicious, without being biased.

However, other prefectures have seafood bowls made with seafood from all over the Hokuriku region (including white shrimp), and other products that have a visually appealing texture.

All the food was such that I felt like it was delicious before I even tried it.

However, making cakes using seafood is difficult.

This time, I decided to express myself with my favorite spice curry, and went around Tokyo eating curry.

During that time, I came across mackerel curry made with Japanese soup stock that I would like to eat again.

There are other reasons as well.When I order Indian curry, I think people often eat curry, chai, and yogurt together.

In that case, curry, chai, and mom's cheesecake should go well together...so I confidently recommend the combination of spiced curry and cheesecake.

The characteristics of the curry we make are

Make dashi with kelp, bonito, and dried fish.

Stir-fry onions and tomatoes and season with spices

The main dish is a spiced curry made with seafood such as yellowtail.

I think it would be a good idea to have dried firefly squid or fried white shrimp as a side menu.

The general direction has been decided, but the flavor has not yet been decided, so we will finalize the flavor until the opening.
